Vinçotte has a vast experience in checking the mechanical integrity of offshore platforms. In many cases the conditions for an oil or gas rig are harsh, and remote in case of an anomaly. Therefore we can help by testing and evaluating the integrity at a high professional level.

For several years now Vincotte has been performing NDT on offshore platforms, both during construction and during in service inspections. Many techniques, such as corrosion mapping, eddy current, digital radiography, are used to detect possible damage at a very early stage. In many cases TOFD is used to monitor defects or degradation mechanisms such as root corrosion and HIC.
