Retaining rings

The inspection is performed during the maintenance activities of the alternator. Once the rotor extracted from the stator, a scanning mechanism is mounted on the retaining rings. More then 14 ultrasonic techniques are applied to detect flaws, oriented in any direction and position. 100% of the volume of these retaining rings is scanned with a high resolution to detect every anomaly in this unusual profile.
